IGT Strikes Strategic Alliance with the WBS

 

     The IGT Mexico Tournament Series events are officially sanctioned events of the World Billfish Series(WBS). They, in fact, comprise the entire Mexico Division of the WBS. Through this relationship IGT’s Tournaments and our Mexican resort destinations will gain exposure to an additional 30,000 anglers worldwide. Our advertisements and editorial articles will appear in each WBS Billfishing Magazine, published monthly, as well as in the WBS annual Official Guide to Billfishing. Each publication has a distribution of 25,000+ copies distributed throughout the USA via subscription and distribution at numerous boat and fishing tackle trade shows.

 

WHAT IS THE WORLD BILLFISH SERIES?

 

     The World Billfish Series is dedicated to promoting a lifestyle committed to sportsmanship, healthy competition and marine conservation through “The World’s Richest Bluewater Fishing Events.” The WBS works to promote the virtues of true sportsmanship and global marine conservation as ambassadors of big-game fishing. Comprised of 50+ of billfishing’s most prestigious tournaments in seven worldwide divisions, the WBS World Tour is fished by over 30,000 anglers. Anglers earn points at each of these events based on participation, billfish
catch and overall tournament finish.
